DAVESHAVES - the book

First there was the DAVESHAVES t-shirt. An item of such sartorial shaving elegance that it quickly took on cult status amongst the shaving community and is now so rare to find that's it's practically non-existent.
Then there were the DAVESHAVES business cards. Those are less rare because I ordered 250 of them and then quickly found that strangers in the street don't appreciate a random man wearing a DAVESHAVES t-shirt thrusting a DAVESHAVES business card in their faces while they're struggling along with shopping bags on a Saturday afternoon. Friends and family barely tolerate it either so I suppose I shouldn't have been so surprised at the level of aggression and the threat of physical violence.
Now, though, there's a new challenger in the DAVESHAVES marketing ring. A challenger in the shape of a book. A book with a cover. A cover with pages in between them. Pages with stuff* on them. Lots of pages. Just under 160, infact.
What I've done is taken what I consider to be the best of the bunch from the DAVESHAVES website and edited it all into a handy, easy-to-read format. I'm still in the editing process, but the test copies came through recently (see the above photo) and I thought I'd give subscribers to this website a chance to see what it looks like. It may well change.
The point is, it'll be coming out around September or October, just in time to flood the market for Christmas. And what would be a better gift for either you or the wet shaver in your life than a DAVESHAVES book**?
More on the book nearer the time.
* By stuff, I don't mean pastry crumbs or jam or dried droplets of coffee. No - I mean writing. Not just scribble, either. I haven't just published a book of blank pages and written on them. No - by writing I mean printed words. That I've written.
** Apart from a new razor, a new brush or a load of expensive artisan shaving cream.
