Holy Cow! Look what's just arrived at Dave Shaves from Connaught Shaving:
Handmade in Italy, everything about this Extro Bay Rum-scented shaving cream screams quality very loudly in your face, from the size of the pleasingly-heavy glass jar to the striking label on the lid. I've photographed it here with my Thiers-Issard 1937 Special Coiffeur for a size comparison:
But size and packaging isn't everything, as we all know. Luckily, when you open the lid you see this:
And yes. The scent is every bit as wonderful as you'd expect from the colour. This is one shaving cream in my collection that I'll be using very sparingly, assuming that I'll only need a small dollop of it in the bottom of my lathering bowl.
