Trying the wet-shaving experience on a budget

I happened to notice this in Asda this morning and it struck me as being a great deal. £16 gets you a safety razor, brush, shaving soap and blades. Not an outrageous amount if you're looking at starting wet shaving but don't want to immediately start spending significant amounts of money on each item separately.

I don't own a Wilkinson Sword razor, so I can't comment on its quality or how it shaves. The brush and the shaving soap I can comment on as they were what I started with. To get a taste of the wet shaving experience they're fine but you'll probably move on from them very quickly. I remember the shaving soap seemed very difficult to lather up so when I made the switch to Proraso you can imagine how surprised I was when I had a lather volcano within seconds.

Really, though - £16? Bit of a bargain if you ask me.
