Blade Bank

Is your tub of Mr. Hobbs Barbershop* sandalwood shave cream finished? Are you about to throw it in the recycling? Don't**. Try this instead.

Transform your once-full pot into a handy and attractive blade bank simply by washing it out and putting your old, used blades in it. The pot doesn't just take DE blades either. It fits a variety of proprietary blades.

If you want to get really fancy, you can keep the lid screwed on and cut a slit in the top and simply drop the blades in. Perfect. Just make sure you take appropriate care when cutting. I won't be held responsible if you hurt yourself while hacking away mindlessly at the lid with an axe.

Then, many, many months later when the pot is full of dulled razor blades, carry it to the top of a hill on a moonlit night and hold it up to the moon as an offering to the universe, while screaming something significant and meaningful in Old English***. Something like Yfel dôm hergian êow, môdor****.

* Of course, it doesn't have to be a tub of Mr. Hobbs Barbershop shave cream. It could just as easily be a Proraso, Cella or Arko tub. Let your imagination be carried aloft on the broad shoulders of creativity into the endless skies of wonder.

** I don't mean don't recycle. Of course you should recycle. But before you put it in the recycling, try this idea.

*** This is optional. You don't have to do this.

**** Any Old English-speaking, wet-shaving enthusiasts who happen to be reading this will probably want to throw up at how inaccurate this translation is. Please do get in touch and tell me I'm wrong.
