The heads on both the Fatip Grande Gold Classic Original and the Fatip Piccolo are exactly the same* so I knew exactly what I was getting when I accidentally** bought the latter recently.
The only difference between the two is the handle and the weight. Apart from that they both deliver a smooth shave. They're aggressive little razors, but not overly so. I'm not going to compare them to other open-comb razors because there's no point in doing that. They should be judged on their own merits. The important thing is that I like the two Fatip razors that I own and would heartily recommend them.***
* Apart from the colour, of course.
** I don't know what happened. One moment I was admiring the photographs of the Piccolo on the Shaving Shack website, the next I was receiving confirmation of my order. I don't remember what happened in between. I must have blacked out.
*** A hearty recommendation would probably involve me invading your personal space and enthusing about them with fanatical hysteria, forcing you to look at photographs of the razors on my phone in much the same way that a father might show you photographs of his newborn child. And no one wants that, do they?
